... ran across this. See if you like it, too. It appeals for churches to adopt a strategy of sending "church-based teams" to some of the most difficult areas of the world. Churches sending their own folks and being vitally involved in the whole process from selection through training, appointment, and resourcing to ongoing pastoral care and assistance IS THE ESSENCE OF IMPLEMENTING THE NEW TESTAMENT WORD "PROPEMPO."
In fact, it's not too much to say that this kind of missionary sending is closer to the New Testament ideal and the quintessential natural result of a biblical church doing what is natural for a biblically-minded church to do.
